I worked on a bi-weekly sprint to push out iterations and enhancement, solved bugs and tackled many edge cases.
Performance review is vital to cultivate a productive work environment and is used differently by each roles and personas, ranging from but not limited to: CEOs, admins, middle managers and individual contributors.
Keeping the roles and responsibilities in mind, I designed solutions to cater for multiple roles to make sure that they can achieve their goals - whether is creating the best company culture, managing team or getting the feedback to grow their career.
Managers can view the status and progress of their direct reports goals in one glance.
Goals are categorized by individuals to avoid any privacy and confidential concerns, as managers may present the screen to other of their direct reports in the sync.
Managers can help make their workers stay focused and on track by assigning goals to them.
Managers can now set all the attributes of the goal as the individual would usually do, e.g. measurement, start and due date, alignment to the company/ department goals.
Performance reviews is vital during promotional and compensation review.
Now the reviewers can make their feedback stronger by referencing past and ongoing goals, accessible from the context panel.
Streamline the 360 degree review cycle by assigning questions to a certain role. Admins and managers will be able to configure who should answer which question and still have all the feedback in one place.
Admins and managers can easily access and manage the different types of pre-built templates when creating reviews. Quickly jumpstart the review cycle with a library of specifically curated review templates by industry experts or simply just duplicate from past reviews.
Performance Management was my first product project after transitioning from the Design Systems project. I learned the best practices of running research, working within the limitations of design systems, receiving critique of the design work, advocating for the best user experience during engineering grooming, and many more.
Workers, their peers, managers, and admins, I learned to be able to emphasize to create personalized experience so that every roles will be able to accomplish their goals.
I learned to take full responsibility and ownership of my work so that the development team is able to reach the goals and deadlines we have set on.
