I am a third culture kid born in Saudi Arabia, raised across in 5 continents (see where I've been!), and now living in Vancouver, Canada.

I am an end-to-end product designer who loves solving challenging and impactful problems. As an INFJ, I seek fulfillment in understanding people and thrive on deep and authentic relationships.

At UBC, I studied business technology, but my passion for design, technology and community building led me to a career in product design. I am always trying to grow and learn something new. Currently learning more about cooking, golfing and Spanish.

You can reach me on Linkedin or via email.

Mantra

Living in Beta

"To put yourself out there as you are today. This is meant to create the natural question of waiting for tomorrow to present yourself to the world when you’re a bit more ‘perfect’ vs. showing everyone where you are today, including all of the imperfections." - Bay McLaughlin

I was born in Saudi Arabia, raised across five continents and have visited over 70 cities (see where I've been!). With the ambition to explore, I am always eager to come face to face with the new possibilities and challenges. I strive to live an iterative and flexible approach to every obstacles.  Similar to an MVP, I rely on feedback, so that I can adapt to create a better version of myself every day.

Design Journey

"Life is a journey with problems to solve, lessons to learn. But most of all, experiences to enjoy." - unknown

When deciding on a university major, as much as I’ve always enjoyed design, the idea of working with technology fascinated me more. I fully believe, as cliche as it sounds, tech can change the world. Hence, I decided to specialize in Business Technology Management (aka MIS). Although I enjoyed learning about MySQL, VLAN protocols, using Tableau or drawing BPMNs, I still find myself being attracted to the creative world and the notion of designing for people.

I accidentally stumbled upon UX design through an internship in 2017. To this day, I am still thankful for taking that leap of faith and have the choice to choose a career that lies in my passions.
